al-Nawawī Sheikh has the capacity:-

One of the advantages of al-Nawawī sheikh is the wealth of his books and writings, which clearly characterized the meanings and phrases and the ease of presentation and citation of the opinions of scholars and scholars and displayed in the place and the most famous books of Riad al-Saleh, the forty nuclear and many others.

The full name is Mohiuddin Abu Zakaria Yahya bin Sharaf bin Omer bin Hasan bin Hussain bin Mohammed bin Juma bin Karab,al-Nawawī relative to Noi, a village of Horan villages in Syria.





Birth and Origin:-

Born in Muharram 631 H-circa 1233 m in the village of Noi, he began to memorize the Holy Qur’an at the age of 10 and read in the fiqh of a number of scholars, the venerable Sheikh in his childhood as other children accepted to play, but would prefer to sit in order to read the Qur’an and Study of religious sciences from the beginning, al-Nawawī sheikh went on the path of religious sciences, which then made him Imam Fadel Jalil.

In 643, he moved with his father to Damascus in order to complete his religious education at Dar al-Hadith school, the School of Rouayyah, which is located next to the Umayyad Mosque from the eastern side, and in 651 he travelled with his father to Mecca to perform the pilgrimage and then returned again to Damascus.

Scientific Life:-

al-Nawawī sheikh was coming to the flag and devoted his whole time to the grandfather in learning and studying, taking the science seriously and accepting to read and memorize, and he saved the book of warning and other books and lessons, and due to his great diligence in learning he received the admiration of Professor Abi Ibrahim Ishaq ibn Ahmed al-Mughrabi Bae As a teaching assistant in his episode, after which he studied in the Dar al Hadith claimed, and others he always sought to follow the science and move behind him wherever it is and the evidence of his diligence in knowing that he was reading a dozen lessons on the elders in explanation and correction and categorized as follows “Two lessons in the broker, and thirdly in Polite, and a lesson in combining the correct, fifth in true Muslim, and a lesson in the Labin for the son of Genie in Grammar, a lesson in the reform of the logic of the son of the skeet in the language, a lesson in exchange, a lesson in the origins of fiqh, and sometimes in the name of the Father Isaac, and sometimes in the elect of the Pride The origins of religion “

al-Nawawī sheikh was not only reading, but writing all about the lessons of explaining, clarifying and adjusting the language.

Sources of Science:-

As we have already mentioned, al-Nawawī effort has been very much in order to seek knowledge, and he has always sought to acquire more. He studied at the hands of many virtuous scholars who satisfied the desire of science, which he always starved for, where he studied in many scientific and religious fields such as Fiqh, Hadith and science, and was a scientist who studied By Abdul Rahman bin Ibrahim bin take a al-Fazari, Taj Eddine, Ishaq bin Ahmed al-Mughrabi, Ibrahim ibn Issa El-Mouradi, Imam al-Hafez, Abdul rahman bin Salem bin Yahya Anbari, and many others scholars and elders.

He read in the knowledge of the origins of Omar Ben Bendar bin Omar bin Ali ibn Muhammad al-Shafsi, and read in grammar and language to Sheikh Ahmed Ben Salem al-Masri, the grammar of the language, and al-Maliki’s Pride.

He also used his studies in of Imam Malik, the al-Shafi’i Ahmed ibn Hanbal and al-Dramar, Sunan ibn Maajah, the Sunnah explanation of the Beghawi, the genealogy of Zabir Ben Bakkar, and the day and night work of the Sunni son, and the book of Etiquette and narrator of al-Baghdadi.

In view of the foregoing, we find that al-Nawawī has spared no effort in the asked further of the various sciences and has used the various teachers and books of the most famous imams, scholars and other sources of knowledge for this venerable Sheikh.

Books and Writings:-

Sheikh al-Nawawi began to write books in his thirties and was distinguished by the abundance of his production in this field, and his writings have gained popularity and wide acceptance among Muslims, due to the ease of the phrases and the clarification of evidence and proofs in addition to the fair presentation of the opinions of jurists and religious scholars.

His writings include: Sharh saheeh Muslim, Majmoo ‘ al-Adab, Riyad al-Saleh, the fine-tuning of names and languages, the kindergarten-kindergarten and the mayor of Muftis, the curriculum in Fiqh, the forty-nuclear in explaining the prophetic hadiths, the explanation in the manners of the Qur’an campaign, Adhkaar-the ornament of the righteous and the motto of the Good Guys in To summarize the welcome invitations and Adhkaar at night and day, the explanation in the rites.






Actions and attitudes:-

I met in the nuclear sheikh all the qualities of asceticism and piety, and he spared no effort to give advice, whether for an ordinary individual or for the ruler, in order to realize the right and to raise the Islamic principles and to work on it, and the nuclear sheikh was ascetic in life, he was working on science and he does not accept a substitute so he was not looking and a position that only kept the flag in mind all the time.

One of the positions we mention to Sheikh al-Nawawi is that although Dar al-Hadeeth was allocating a large salary to him, he refused to take this salary and was working to save him with the headmaster and he took him every year to buy him a king to stop him for the modern house, or buy books and include them to the school closet To be used by others, as he did not accept gifts and do not accept them.

Sheikh al-Nawawi, with his courage, boldness and honesty, also distinguished himself in providing advice and guidance, and he did not ask him to advise him anything but the face and consent of Allaah, and he was based on his advice to the strong evidences and proofs that support his speech and his fatwa.     


Sheikh al-Nawawi left for life on the 24th of Rajab in 676 AH-1277 PM, after he returned to his hometown in the town of Noi, after answering the books borrowed from the Waqf and visiting the tombs of the elders and called for them, a symbol of the fulfillment of the nuclear to those who educated him and his scientific guidance throughout his life and When he completed his tour he returned to his home where he was sick and died, and he was grieved by the Muslims in general and the Muslims of Damascus in particular and lamented many people.

God has mercy on a venerable sheikh who has spared no effort in the collection and teaching of science, he was and still is a great elder of the great Muslim elders, who lit the Islamic minds and enriched the libraries with many valuable books in various religious branches.
